WI-LINQ is a lightweight SD wireless COFDM system which makes wireless video transmission affordable and provides complete freedom for "difficult to reach" situations. Being a sports event or covering an event where DSNG Van can't be reached. WI-LINQ makes it a breeze for live Broadcasting. Weighing less than 5kgs it is a wearable hard shell back unit, making it easier for the cameraperson to carry it 5km (LOS) away from the DSNG van and transmit live news from difficult to reach places.

Used with any standard definition television camera, WI-LINQ can stream MPEG-2 encoded real time DVD Quality content for more than 4hrs using it’s 2 battery packs which are aesthetically integrated inside the backpack.

WI-LINQ brings a new level of Digital performance and reliability to video and audio transmission for ENG & EFP applications. It provides a maximum of 2W power to deliver highly reliable Link performance for handheld and POV cameras as well as portable point-to-point links. Utilizing COFDM modulation coding, WI-LINQ provides superior multi path performance compared to traditional analog transmission.

It also provides reliable and stable and imagery over a wide range of operational conditions. Image quality is excellent due to high quality low latency MPEG-2 video compression and advanced forward error correction algorithms. WI-LINQ is available in 2.4GHz license free band as a standard.

Packaged in rugged hard shell backpack, WI-LINQ is engineered to meet the rigors of today's remote broadcast environment. A comprehensive side panel has 1BNC for video and 2 XLR pins for audio as standard which provides quick and easy integration into any camera system without expensive specialized connectors.
