Sun TV Network bags distribution deal with Arasu CableAugust 01, 2012

Sun Television Network has joined hands with Arasu Cable Television Corporation in a distribution deal that will see the Tamil Nadu government-promoted distributor carry the network's channels across the state. Sun TV in a filing to the BSE said that the agreement will enable total availability of the company's channels on all cable TV distribution systems run by Arasu Cable across Tamil Nadu with immediate effect. The Network also said that it holds a 'dominant' market share in terms of viewership ratings and added that the deal will further boost its popular programmes. The deal will also help add more revenue to the Network's coffers. |
