Harris Broadcast Communications has announced that Techtel Pty. Ltd., a leading independent supplier to the broadcast, television, radio and communications markets, has joined its growing International Partner Programme handling Harris equipment and systems around the world.

Techtel has signed a contract to become a dealer of Harris’ Videotek test and measurement, video processing, distribution and networking portfolio for customers across Australia and will begin selling and supporting the product lines in the region immediately.

Techtel operates in Australia, New Zealand and South East Asia. It supplies products for a number of operational areas, including newsroom computer systems, multi-stream playout, asset management, live production and post production, radio automation, MPEG transmission systems and broadcast and media telco applications.
