It is great fun to work with such talented people and write for kids across the country." said Rajani Thindiath, Editor, Tinkle. "Tinkle is over 30 years old and boasts of second and third generation readers. It has evolved over years in terms of look and design. We have introduced new characters, popular character have grown and changed with time like Suppandi is now a young boy, Shikari Shambhu has moved on from being a hunter to being a conservationist. The magazine has evolved over years to suit the readers’ need, which is why it is the most favourite comic magazine in India." she further added.

"The effort is to make Tinkle an interactive, fun comic magazine for kids, that adheres to our motto 'Where Learning Meets Fun'. A magazine that kids can call their own. We are also announcing the 17th Tinkle Original story competition with this issue, inviting writers, both upcoming and established to write for Tinkle." highlighted Rajani.

Commenting on how Tinkle continues to be the most loved magazines across all age group over decades, Rajani said, "When Tinkle was first introduced, children were only exposed to TV and radio. With the advent of cable TV, internet, computer games, mobiles, SFX and animation, the expectations have risen. Where they were earlier content with folktales and simple stories, the demand now is for more complex storylines, mysteries and horror. Retaining its ethos, Tinkle remains a fun family magazine and has successfully adapted to the changes, keeping its core TG in mind. No matter what changes, children will always connect to humour. And humour mixed with learning is the hallmark of Tinkle. We are connecting with our readers through several media, including post, emails, www.tinkleonline.com and social networking sites."
