Chinese company exports 10,000 tab computers to Thailand

A Chinese company has exported 10,000 tablet computers to Thailand, where the government plans to distribute the devices to grade 1 primary school students.
The China Daily has reported that, the tablets were sent by the Shenzhen Scope Scientific Development Co Ltd. The firm will send around 400,000 tablets by August. It will be shipping around 12,300 tablets every day for four days a week till August.
The company has signed another contract for 500,000 more tablet computers, and will start sending these after the initial order of 400,000 tablets is completed.
In times to come, The Thai government plans to hand out one million tablets to grade 1 primary school students as part of the initiative "One Tablet per Child Programme".
