Google's acquisition of Wildfire has brought the company an interesting employee. Arielle Zuckerberg, Mark Zuckerberg's sister who works for Wildfire, the social marketing firm based in Redwood City, California, is now a Google employee.

Google had announced that it had acquired Wildfire on Tuesday.

"I'm in Israel on Birthright and I just found out that I'm now a Google employee. Not gonna lie... This feels pretty awkward, but I also feel very proud to be a part of the Wildfire team on this exciting day for Alain and Victoria." Arielle Zuckerberg posted on her Facebook profile page.

Google latest acquisition is part of its fierce competition against Facebook in order to gain more ad revenue and attention.

The acquisition will see Wildfire's co-founders and other staff join Google. Wildfire enables companies to manage their online brand and presence by providing software that links to Facebook Inc, Twitter, LinkedIn Corp, Pinterest and other social networking sites.
