Microsoft Corp's new version of Office 2010 software is due to out in June this year. The software will charge between $99 and $499 for four retail versions of its Office 2010 software.

Office 2010 will be obtainable in four versions, to make it easier to choose a version of Office that’s best for you – Office Home and Business, Office Professional, Office Home and Student, and Office Professional Academic.

The pricing is by and large in line with prices of its Office 2007 programs, one of the two most profitable product lines at the world's biggest software maker.

It will sell an education-only version, Office Professional Academic, through campus book stores and to some of the retailers for $99. Besides the core programs, the academic version comes with the Outlook e-mail program, Publisher for desktop publishing and the Access database software.
