This year at BIRTV2012, Chyron will demonstrate BlueNet, a comprehensive solution that fully addresses broadcasters' requirements for streamlined end-to-end graphics workflows. BlueNet leverages Chyron's acclaimed suite of graphics tools for ordering and graphics asset management, collaborative graphics creation, and real-time playout. Integration with Axis World Graphics, Chyron's cutting-edge cloud-based services offering, extends the power of BlueNet workflows to speed even the most advanced graphics to air. 

In fast-paced news or sports workflows that require many complex graphics, BlueNet minimizes the cycle time from creation to air. Order management tools allow producer-driven content to move smoothly into a rundown, and easily accessible templates enable instant and efficient collaboration in preparing graphics.

Lyric PRO 8.1 Graphics Creation Software Also being demonstrated at BIRTV2012 will be Chyron's Lyric PRO 8.1 graphics creation software platform. With scriptless conditional intelligent transitions across multiple systems and delivery of superior-quality real-time 3D animations, Lyric PRO 8.1 enables users to improve the look of on-air graphics with ease and accuracy. With native support for stereoscopic 3D, scriptless transitions, and touch screen-enabled graphics, Lyric PRO 8.1 is a worldwide leader for sports and news applications.

Channel Box² (v.4.6) Branding and Promo System

Chyron will showcase its Channel Box², channel branding system that features 2D/3D design with a complete data acquisition toolset for all branding applications. Built on Chyron's Lyric technology, Channel Box² allows users to access any data — RSS feeds, traffic, financial, weather, elections, tickers, promos, snipes, and more — and publish it on the air anywhere, anytime. 

Channel Box² software boasts an asset viewer that allows an operator to validate, package, and query assets, as well as data binding tools for improved panel control. Additional features include locking scenes and copy/paste/reverse functionality, all of which can be coupled with a scene list that allows groups of scenes to be created and stylized.

Desktop Multi-Viewer 

This software-based application gives any operator, including a master control operator, the ability to monitor and control multiple remote desktop systems simultaneously from a single desktop within a single application. The Desktop Multi-Viewer displays each system in a view-only grid view without affecting any on-air devices. If needed, the operator can easily manage and control a particular playout system by maximizing the view of that system. The Multi-Viewer is based on VNC technology, with the Multi-Viewer application acting as the client, and is compatible with most VNC servers in use today.

MediaMaker

MediaMaker is a new technology that seamlessly integrates Chyron graphics with file-based workflows. MediaMaker extends Chyron graphics capabilities to a wide range of editing and third-party applications. MediaMaker gives video editors and graphic designers access to the same graphics and animations that are being used live on the air. MediaMaker also takes producer-created graphics from a wide range of newsroom systems for painless repackaging into the edit suite. Edit applications such as Apple Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere Pro are now easy to integrate with MediaMaker and the Chyron graphics workflow.
