Kuwaiti Zain Telecom, which was in news recently for selling its African assets to Bharti Airtel, has again hit the headlines by indulging into an agreement with BBC World Service. Under the agreement, Zain will provide access of BBC news content to the subscribers through its mobile internet.

Now, BBc World Service will be a part of the stable of 9 mobile portals of Zain in countries like Kenya, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Chad, Congo, Nigeria, Sierra Leone, Uganda and Malawi. The link to BBC content will be directly available on Zain’s mobile portals home pages.
