Samsung Electronics has recently announced the launch of a 55 inch full HD LED TV in a press conference in Korea. The TV is released under its 9000 series and the company claims it as world's thinnest TV with width of just 7.98mm.
According to the information by Samsung, the new device will carry a body made of stainless metal at KRW 9.9 million. Prior to this, Samsung sold approximately 2.5 million units of LED TV previous year. The statistics were far beyond the speculations made earlier. For this product, Samsung has indulged itself in developing strong marketing partnerships with other firms, to gain popularity in this segment.
The manufacturers have imparted due importance to the back side of the TV as well by using durable stainless metal materials. This has made the TV more attractive and fascinating at looks.
The TV set carries amazing features. Remote Control with the facility of touch screen offers amazing controlling system. Users can search programmes and TV channels on Internet through Wi-Fi wireless technology. The 7.98mm thickness is one thirds of flat TV.
Managing Director Kim, Kyung-hun said, "This is a product that we have pursued to make best in design, function and performance. With technological partnership with overseas firms, we will try to accomplish sales volume of 3D TV similar to LED TV last year."
