The second day of the FOCUS 2009 also comprised of presentations by the management of Music Committee of ASSOCHAM.

The sessions on the second day of the 3rd Global Media & Entertainment Summit-FOCUS 2009 were both interesting and enthralling. One of them was the session that featured the VFX, Animation & Gaming industry on the dais.

The spotlight of the second day at Focus 2009 was on the Direct-to-Home (DTH) sector in a technical session with the representatives from the leading DTH players in the Indian market Dish TV and Airtel DTH on the same panel.

As per a recent joint paper concluded by ASSOCHAM and PwC the Indian entertainment and media (E&M) industry is expected to grow at a rate of 11% by 2013.
